About the appeal
Your donation to The Watermill Theatre Production Fund helps to maintain the quality of its productions against the rising costs of staging a show.To give you an idea – it costs in the region of £160,000 to produce an 8 week actor-musician show, around £140 per week to supply batteries for radio mics for the run and up to £1,000 to clothe one actor for the show. The price of a sheet of plywood for our sets has increased from £11.75 to £21.75 in just one year.
By buying one or more mosaic tiles you are helping the theatre engage, inspire and enrich the lives of many.
On making a minimum donation of £20 you will receive an A4 limited edition print of this Hot Mikado production shot, kindly supplied by Apple Print and taken by Robert Day. On the site, you may leave a message, which is displayed at the top of the screen and with your tile. Why not comment on your favorite show, or leave a message for an actor or director, or for the theatre itself. Please use the 'spread the word' button to tell all your friends about your support for The Watermill Production Fund.
If you are a commercial supporter, buying a tile can also help your business:
* Why not buy a few tiles so that your message appears several times?
* Leave a weblink to your company website which will increase your ranking in major search engines
* You can download a badge for your website which links to this appeal site and helps us to spread the word
Your donation for The Watermill’s Production Fund will contribute to sets, costumes, wigs, props, lighting and sound equipment – all the elements that help make the theatre exciting and special for everyone.
Thank you for supporting the work on stage. Your donation is much needed grist to the mill.
